Wagstaffe Hall - Hiring Information

Wagstaffe Hall is situated on the waterfront, at 55 Wagstaffe Avenue, Wagstaffe, overlooking the scenic Brisbane Water.
The Hall is available for hire for weddings, parties, meetings, concerts, seminars etc.  It can seat approx. 120 people in concert or meeting format  OR  up to 100 people when seated at long tables for a wedding, or party. 
At one end of the Hall is a stage, and on the waterfront-side there are double glass doors opening onto a large verandah, and garden area.

The Hall features the following facilities:-
Included in basic hire fee:-
Modern kitchen area incl. two ovens, cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, sinks, and instant hot-water system
12 x small square tables - seating up to 4 people each
30 x stackable chairs
Air Conditioning
Audio amplifier with accessible inputs & front and rear speakers
Cable microphones
PLUS following equipment available at additional, nominal charge:-
16 x  large rectangular tables - seating up to 8 people each
120 x  additional stackable chairs
1 x high quality baby grand piano (for experienced players only!)
Advanced Audio Visual equipment - as follows:
o Digital (overhead) projector & remote
o DVD player & remote
o facility to connect DVD or computer VGA port to projector
o wireless microphone
Hall Hiring Costs are as follows:-
WEEKEND HIRE  (= any period from 5 pm Friday to
midnight Sunday)   and / or   PUBLIC HOLIDAYS              $ 45.00  per hour
24 hour WEEKEND BLOCK HIRE  (= the period from                 
5 pm Friday to 11 am Sunday inclusive)                              $ 750.00  flat rate
ALL OTHER TIMES                                                          $ 25.00  per hour
Basic Booking Fee (non-refundable)                                  $ 100.00
Security & Damages Bond (refundable)                          $ 500.00
Cleaning Fee (partially refundable)                                       $ 150.00
and optionally:-
Access to additional tables and chairs                               $ 60.00
Baby Grand Piano hire (exp. players only)                          $ 100.00
Advanced AV equipment access                                           $ 150.00
       [NB : use of std. microphones and audio system is incl. in standard booking fee]
Please note some of the above charges may be discounted for the following:-
o Local, non-profit community based groups or organisations
o Small for-profit groups providing a service or benefit to our local community
o Small group meeting or seminars
Please note, the Basic Booking Fee - PLUS 50% of your Total Hire Cost - is required to secure your booking.

Please note:  
If your booking is in the name of a company, a for-profit entity, or an incorporated body, you must provide evidence of paid up Public Liability Insurance, current for the date of your booking
